Easter Poem
Jesus died on the cross
You may think it was a big loss,
No! it was a big gain,
for we are saved by His pain.
He was laid in the tomb to sleep
Leaving the women, disciples to weep
But He went into the earth so deep
The long departed saints to reap
The Lord Jesus rose from the dead
The angels rejoiced, no longer sad,
The demons ashamed, cowered with dread,
And I am forever saved, I am so glad.
Jesus is now on the right hand of the Father
Pleading for my sins and yours my brother,
So let forgive and love each other,
For with Jesus we will spent eternity together.
